# Doodle Pants Affiliate Program Agreement
This Agreement governs your participation as an affiliate ("Affiliate," "you") in the Doodle Pants Affiliate Program ("Program"), operated by Doodle Pants Corporation ("Doodle Pants," "we," "us"). By signing up for the Program, you agree to the terms below.
## 1. Commission
- Affiliates earn a **10% commission** on the net sale price of each qualifying order generated through your unique affiliate link or code.
- Commission applies to product sales only. Shipping charges, taxes, and gift wrapping fees are excluded.
- Commission is calculated after returns, cancellations, and refunds are processed. If an order is returned or refunded, the associated commission will be deducted from your next payout.
- Discounted or promo-code orders still earn commission based on the final sale price paid.
## 2. Cookie Window / Attribution
- Your affiliate link uses a **30-day tracking cookie**. If a customer clicks your link and completes a purchase within 30 days, the sale is attributed to you.
- If a customer clicks multiple affiliate links before purchasing, the **most recent click** receives credit (last-click attribution).
## 3. Payout Terms
- Commissions are paid out **monthly**, on or around the 15th, for the previous calendar month's approved sales.
- A **30-day holding period** applies to each sale before it's approved for payout, to account for the standard return window.
- **Minimum payout threshold: $25.** If your balance doesn't reach $25 in a given month, it rolls over to the next payout cycle.
- Payments are made via PayPal to the email address you provide at signup. It's your responsibility to keep this information current.
- You are responsible for any taxes owed on affiliate earnings. Affiliates earning $600 or more in a calendar year will be issued a 1099-NEC (U.S. affiliates only).
## 4. Acceptable Marketing Methods
You may promote Doodle Pants using:
- Your own social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, blogs)
- Genuine content featuring Doodle Pants products (photos, videos, reviews, styled posts)
- Email marketing to your own opted-in subscriber list
- Your affiliate link shared in bios, link-in-bio tools, or content captions
You may **not**:
- Bid on Doodle Pants brand terms (e.g., "Doodle Pants," "doodlepants.com," or close misspellings) in paid search advertising (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.)
- Use spam tactics, including unsolicited email, text messages, or comment spamming
- Post your affiliate link on coupon or deal sites without prior written approval
- Make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about products
- Use Doodle Pants trademarks, logos, or product images in a way that implies official partnership or endorsement beyond your role as an affiliate, without written permission
- Purchase products using your own affiliate link for personal use ("self-referral")
## 5. Fraud and Prohibited Activity
Doodle Pants actively monitors affiliate activity for fraud. The following will result in **immediate termination** from the Program and forfeiture of unpaid commissions:
- Cookie stuffing or forced clicks
- Use of bots, click farms, or incentivized/paid traffic to inflate clicks or sales
- Creating fake accounts or placing fraudulent orders to generate commission
- Misrepresenting your identity, audience, or affiliation with Doodle Pants
- Any other activity intended to manipulate tracking or payout in bad faith
Doodle Pants reserves the right to withhold payout on any commission under investigation for suspected fraud, and to recover commissions already paid if fraud is confirmed after the fact.
## 6. Term and Termination
- Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time, for any reason, with written notice (email is sufficient).
- Upon termination, your affiliate link will be deactivated. Approved commissions earned prior to termination will still be paid out on the normal schedule; commissions from fraudulent activity will not.
- Doodle Pants reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued participation in the Program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
## 7. Independent Contractor Status
You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or partner of Doodle Pants. This Agreement does not create any joint venture, partnership, or employment relationship.
